The Capital Church believes that ministry to children is vital, not only for the growth of our church, but for the success of our community, the strength of our nation and the stability of the world. With this in mind, we offer many areas of Children's Ministry, teaching Biblical truths by promoting Christian character, artistic development and building the Kingdom of God.

Sunday School For Children: Age appropriate Sunday morning Bible teaching takes place every week from 9:45am - 10:35am for children as follows: Nursery (Birth - 2years), Primary (K5-1st Grade), Middler (2nd & 3rd Grades), and Junior (4th and 5th Grades).

Children's Church begins at 10:45am each Sunday morning and includes a variety of ministries for each age group to engage our children with God. These include:

• Nursery (Birth-2 years): We love babies! Your little one will be cared for by our loving, qualified volunteers in one of our clean, secure nurseries while you enjoy our adult services. We separate infants from older children to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.
  
  
• Kingdom Kids (3 years-Kindergarten): can join "Fishing Friends" and "Kidsville" during our Sunday morning worship service. Children are escorted from the Castle to one of our beautifully decorated classrooms where they are presented with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They'll make new friends as they learn through worship, prayer, puppets, games and craft time. This well-staffed ministry will train your child to enjoy learning from the Word of God.
  
  
• The DOCK (Discipling Christ's Kids) and Pier 45: Elementary age (1st - 5th grades) ministry at its finest!! Offered during Sunday morning worship service, kids will experience "church" like never before while sitting beside a realistic boat dock. High energy praise and worship blended with wacky characters, crazy games and solid Bible teaching make for exciting ministry that your kids will want to experience again and again.
  
  
• Performing Arts Ministries: These seasonal ministries include the Children's Choir, drama and art, giving place for your child to use his or her God-given gifts and talents for His glory. Our annual Junior Talent Quest is just one of the many opportunities available to every child who wants to attend The Capital Church.

Mid-Week Ministry for Children begins at 7:15pm each Wednesday night and includes:

• Mpact Girls Club - "Changing the world one girl at a time." Mpact is a tool used by the church to introduce girls to Jesus Christ and to train them to follow Him. It is a place for girls tto invite their friends to meet Jesus, gather with other girls who love God, and be mentored by a sponsor who cares about them. Mpact has a five fold purpose

  1. To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance
  2. To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us - developing girls spiritually and mentally
  3. To provide encouragement, support and accountability through lasting Christian relationships
  4. To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts
  5. To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ

  Mpact has five different clubs, which are grouped by age: Rainbows (3 & 4 year olds), Daisies Club (Kindergarten), Prims Club (1st & 2nd grade), Stars Club (3rd-5th grade), Friends Club (6th - 8th grade).

• Royal Rangers - The goal for Royal Rangers is to reach, teach and keep boys for Jesus Christ. This is done by providing wholesome activities, while at the same time challenging the boys in the areas of knowledge of the outdoors, American history and Bible knowledge. A boy can begin in the Royal Rangers as a Kindergartener and work through the "ranks" until a senior in high school. Royal Rangers have four age divisions including: Ranger Kids (K-2nd grade), Discovery Rangers (3rd - 5th grades), Adventure Rangers (6th - 8th grades), Expedition Rangers (9th - 12th grades)
